We will meet up outside Idaho Central Arena at the Grove Plaza. I will take you inside the arena and we will sit to discuss sports photography (or action in general), factors of how you shoot such as location. We will discuss equipment to use in different environments, optimal shooting locations, and more.
Then the fun part, we will be able to practice by shooting the Idaho Steelheads hockey team while they practice on the ice. After practice, we will do additional discussion about the shooting experience.
The team will take the ice around 10:45 am
we will meet in the Grove at 9:30am.
If you would like to meet earlier for coffee, we could also do that in the Grove depending on interest.
This is a rare and unique opportunity offered by the Idaho Steelheads photographer Lisa Jordan.
The cost of the class covers materials and handouts.
